About

Hello! My name is Zhiyi Xiang. I was born in Suining County, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province, and grew up in Loudi City, Hunan Province. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Optical Engineering at the College of Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies, National University of Defense Technology, under the supervision of Prof. Shilong Jin and Associate Prof. Jian Zhou at the Laser Gyro Research Institute.

My research interests include Laser Doppler Velocimetry, Inertial Navigation Technology, and Integrated Navigation Technology. I am passionate about exploring innovative applications of these technologies to advance the field of navigation.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I am an avid enthusiast of history and geography, with a particular interest in Chinese history. I also enjoy gaming, with favorites such as League of Legends, Naraka: Bladepoint, GTA V, Red Dead Redemption 2, The Witcher 3, Monster Hunter: World, and the Battlefield series. Additionally, I have spent over 200 hours immersed in Civilization VI and No Man’s Sky.
